Coconut Almond Chia Porridge

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey

 

Instructions:

  1. Cook oats, chia seeds, and shredded coconut with coconut milk until thickened.
  2. Stir in almond butter and honey. Serve warm.

 

Protein per serving: ~9 grams

Ayurvedic Side Note: Coconut and almond butter cool Pitta, while chia seeds hydrate and ground.
