My name is Daphny, a proud mother of two, living with my family in a peaceful seaside town in southern Portugal. Growing up in Germany and the Netherlands, I enjoyed the comforts of Western living while also witnessing the challenges many of us face in finding balance amidst a busy, fast-paced lifestyle. These experiences taught me that every challenge shapes us and contributes to our growth.
After a successful corporate career in Amsterdam, I burned out and turned to Yoga and Ayurveda for healing. These practices transformed my life, helping me overcome postpartum depression and reconnect with myself. The health struggles of my second child further solidified my commitment to promoting balance and disease prevention for the whole family.
Now a Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and Co-Founder of Naia Retreats, I guide women to reconnect, recharge, and regain strength. I’ve also authored Ayurveda Mum, sharing practical ways to integrate Ayurveda into daily family life. My mission is to spread Ayurveda to the West, offering a path to balance and well-being without strict rules.
